Beauty Seminar, Barnfield College

Barnfield College provided two opportunities for students to gain an insight into the work of a beauty therapist.  The seminar started with a lecture about the different layers of skin and their functions, facial bone and skin structure and skin care.  This was supported by briefing materials which were given to the students.

The final session provided an opportunity for practical application of the knowledge they had gained in the morning by working in pairs giving and receiving facials.

The students said they especially enjoyed the practical facial session and would like to do more.
