Health and Safety in construction is a key element in the BTEC 1st diploma in Construction and the Built Environment.

A group of young apprentices from Bedford had the chance to get to grips with this during a site visit to the WIXAM developement south of Bedford.

 Laing Homes provided the opportunity to see four stages of the build process and the first hand knowledge gained will be used to enhance the BTEC qualification in the months to come.
