This is the first year the Young Apprenticeship in Construction and the Built Environment has been delivered in Luton, 29 students started the year by creating Formula 1 cars from wood and racing them down a specially designed track.

Following this experience they visited the new Carnival Arts Building being built in Luton to increase their knowledge and understanding of design and build.

December started with a visit to the British Research Establishment, Watford to look at innovative design and sustainability. This year started with a day looking at planning and building communities of the future.
