On 2nd December this year the regional final of the First Lego League took place at Cranfield University. This is the largest children's competition in the world.
We run this event every year for teams/schools local to Bedfordshire but throughout the country and indeed worldwide regional finals take place. The winners of each area then go on to the National Finals which will take place next year.
The schools who took part this year were:
Blakesley CE Primary School, Towcester Caludon Castle School, Coventry Dr Challoner's Grammar School, Amersham King Edwards School, Birmingham The Chauncy School, Ware The Cooper School, Bisceter Walton High School, Milton Keynes
and we had 10 teams taking part.
There is always a big buzz when the event starts with students showing off their programming ability, presentations and teamwork.
The overall winner this year was Team Chauncy from the Chauncy School who will now be heading to the National Finals.
Congratulations to them and of course to all the teams who took part.
We hope to see you all back next year!
