This challenge was developed by the construction industry to help inform pupils about the variety of roles that exist within the industry and to provide a practical challenge that in some ways, replicates some of these roles.

The task is to replicate a building that is created before the challenge starts and is unseen by any of the learners.

Within each team roles are assigned to individuals, only some of whom are allowed to see the building.  Using their communication skills alone, they must convey the nature of the building so that other team members can recreate it.  Costings are also important as a record must be kept of materials being used as well as the delivery and transportation costs.
