National K'Nex Challenge
Location: In school
Age Group:  |  Category:

We are once again hoping to bring schools this annual challenge which involves Science & Engineering Ambassadors (SEAs) to bring the activity to individual schools.  The aim of this challenge is to provide KS 2 children with an introduction on the exciting world of engineering and technology.

There are two ways for schools to get involved each of which will result in the school receiving a free K’Nex kit and each child receiving a certificate for taking part.  We are indebted to Young Engineers for providing the kits, prizes and certifictes.

The competitioni starts in school where an ambassador will attend to run the first level of the challenge.  This will need a two hour time slot to deliver and a large classroom or hall.  We can work with up to 30 pupils per session.  Please phone Hayley on 01525 408082 for details of cost of availability.

Winners from each school will be invited to the Bedfordshire & Luton final where they will compete for a place in the East of England final.  From here, a place in the national final is at stake.

In addition, the winning team of two pupils will be invited to represent their school in the Bedfordshire and Luton final in May.

If you would like to take part, email Hayley for details now or phone 01525 408082 for more details.
