This workshop is part of the lesson series we have designed to give the students a practical method of checking the performance of a chemical product against its specifications. 

Students will carry out a practical experiment with tethered solid-fuel rocket motors to see the factors that effect performance.  They will build a trapeze style rocket and test it on our flying wire. 

Observation and devising recording methods for this process will be a key part of the workshop.  We will provide you with some information sheets to help with preparation lessons before the workshop.  There will be opportunities for students to video their rockets' performance and study the results afterwards.
