Construction Skills, in conjunction with Techlinks Education Associates, have developed a Construction Road show especially for Key Stage 3 students who are considering taking a Construction qualification.

This road show will be a useful introduction to anyone considering the BTEC First Diploma in Construction and will also help prepare for the new Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment.

The road show will help students explore the breadth of roles within the construction industry and will include hands on, interactive activities as well as the Morrison City Game which looks at the professional, planning side of the industry.

Dates available are:

• 6,7,8,20,21,22,27,28,29 November 2007
  
• 8,9,10,15,16,17,24,29,30,31 January 2008
  
• 19,20,21,26,27,28 February 2008

These dates will be allocated on a first come first served basis.  Book early to avoid disappointment.  The maximum number of students that we can work with per day is 50 and the minimum is 25.  The cost of this workshop is £600 although we are trying to seek some funding for this which may reduce the cost.
