We are now a registered ROBERTA centre.  This means we are one of the very few centres nationally, able to access the excellent training materials developed by the Fraunhofer Institute AIS (Autonomous Intelligent System) in Germany.  These have been translated into English and a network of local teachers will be set up to use these materials with a particular view to encourage girls into robotics.

The work is based on the popular Lego Mindstorms system so perfectly complements the work for Robocup and First Lego League.
