Andrew Harman is a full-time writer who has published eleven novels in the science-fiction and fantasy field. Titles such as The Sorcerer’s Appendix, The Frogs of War and 101 Damnations explore a medieval world in which magic is real, whilst A Midsummer Night’s Gene and It Came From On High look at topics such as genetic engineering and the consequences of discovering that alien life exists on other worlds. Andrew has now worked with many schools across the area with considerable success.

Currently he offers three courses:

• Science Fiction and Creative Writing - Ideal for 9-12 year olds.
• The Science of Science Fiction - Ideal for 9-14 year olds.
• Building Confidence in English - Ideal for 9-12 year olds. Preferably groups of up to 15.
